High West announced on Thursday that it joined forces with “Yellowstone” star Luke Grimes for its Protect The West Initiative. The brand tapped Grimes to serve as its brand ambassador for the initiative.
“Every adventurer has their spot, that one place in the wild they cherish most,” Grimes said in a statement. “For me, this partnership with High West is about protecting those places before they’re gone. The Protect the West initiative is something I deeply believe in, and I’m honored to lend my voice to the cause.”
The 2025 Protect The West Sweepstakes
To celebrate the summer solstice, High West invites fans to enter a sweepstakes. The winner will get a trip to Park City, Utah, to experience the distillery. From June 20 to July 25, interested parties can enter by commenting on a post on the brand’s social pages. Grimes and the Park City brand are inviting fans to share which parts of the West are worth protecting. Interested parties can check the post out here, and as of Friday, June 27, it already had 20,0538 likes.
Fans shared the spots they wanted to see protected since the post went live. Many expressed an interest in seeing America’s national parks preserved. Other users gave shout-outs to the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, the San Juan Islands, and Wasatch-Cache National Forest.
On August 4, High West will choose a winner who will be notified by Instagram DM or email.
“At High West, our connection to the West runs deep,” said Brand Director of Craft Spirits at Constellation Brands Jacqueline Jacobs. “It’s the inspiration behind our whiskey and the heart of our Protect the West initiative. Partnering with Luke Grimes allows us to bring even more awareness to the urgent need to preserve the places we love. Luke embodies the spirit of the West, and together, we hope to inspire others to join us in protecting the land that gives so much to all of us.”
