Nose: Custard and sweet caramels, indulgent tres de leches, creamy sweetness and tons of confectioners sugar and nougat.
Taste: Rich on the palate, really wonderful texture. Not too prickly, not too syrupy, balanced and sweet and complex. Sweet oak, caramel candies, confectioners sugar, nougat and an icing note. Pleasant oak and spice: pepper, cinnamon, nougat. Decadent.
Finish: Long finish. Precise and clean, full of sweetness and just the right amount of oak.
Overall: Awesome stuff. Wheat whiskey is having a moment and i’m so glad to see this come out of the gate so strongly: complex, sweet, decadent and balanced. Killer.
