On Wednesday, BuzzBallz announced that it was putting a 9-carat pink diamond ring up for auction with starting bids at $2.14 — a sweet nod to Valentine’s Day. The ring’s pink hue pays homage to the new to the RTD brand’s newest flavor: Pink Lemonsqueezy.
The diamond rests in a custom-made, BuzzBallz-inspired setting. The booze-inspired jewel goes up for grabs on Feb. 3, starting at 10 a.m. EST, and the auction closes at 10 a.m. EST. Proceeds from the auction are set to be donated to “a heart-related charitable cause,” according to the brand.
“Every main squeeze deserves the best at BuzzBallz, ‘the best’ means going bigger and brighter than anyone asked for,” Vice President of BuzzBallz Jess Scheerhorn said in a statement. “We couldn’t risk giving Pink Lemonsqueezy a launch that lives up to BuzzBallz’ over-the-top vibe, from the ring’s pink hue and iconic round shape to an unforgettable moment only a true BuzzBallz power couple could pull off.”

An RTD Brand Leaning Into Loud Luxury
In December, the Sazerac-owned brand launched a line of spherically-shaped luxury handbags. The brand specifically designed this line to cater to Gen-Z, a generation BuzzBallz claims has “re-written the fashion rulebook.”
The circular bags offer up a BuzzBallz riff on major brands like Chanel, Coach and even Ikea bags.
