In 2015, I began writing about spirits. In 2020, my site – t8ke.review – was acquired by Abrams Media. From 2020 to 2025 I have worked as the Chief Spirits Critic and Co-Founder of BottleRaiders.
My day job is many things now: I am the Principal Whiskeymaker for my new bottling project: The Reveries; and independently pen reviews and cover the news of the spirits industry here at T8KE.com. I manage private barrels for The Bourbon Concierge / SharedPour.com.
When I’m not writing Spirits Reviews or keeping up to date with the latest Press from the industry, I’m running the internet’s most prolific single barrel program, I’m making selections with my founder friends at Aficionados Group, I’m occasionally making videos for YouTube, or I’m helping to consult with brands, producers and retail outlets to help elevate the world of spirits – nationally and internationally.
