Elijah Craig

On August 20, Elijah Craig commemorated its official Ryder Cup partnership and the golf tournament’s return to the Empire State with a rare bourbon that finished in toasted sugar maple and applewood staves. A 750 ml bottle hosts a suggested retail price of $69.99 and features a natural wood cork, with a gold seal featuring the competition’s logo.

“Elijah Craig is proud to once again be the Official Bourbon of the Ryder Cup, and we could think of no better way to honor this one-of-a-kind competition’s return to New York than with a Bourbon that The Empire State itself had a hand in inspiring,” said Associate Vice President of Elijah Craig Bourbon Max Stefka in a statement. “It’s the perfect way to ‘cheers’ the teams and all the thrills they’ll bring to golf fans at Bethpage Black and around the world, and a special cheers to Elijah.”

The limited-release bourbon was bottled at 94 proof and features a nose that has aromas of apple pie, rich maple, and candy apple. The whiskey finishes in a soft, warm way, coupled with chocolate and cocoa and a peppery kick.

In addition to the rare bottle, the Heaven Hill-owned bourbon brand aims to excite golf fans with hospitality activations. The Elijah Craig Speakeasy will launch at Bethpage Black, where the event is set to take place, and the brand is offering an official cocktail called The Mulligan. The Mulligan is a bourbon-imbued riff on an Arnold Palmer, featuring iced tea, Elijah Craig Bourbon and lemonade.

“Elijah Craig’s world-renowned Bourbon will once again be an incredible part of the spectator experience at the Ryder Cup,” said PGA of America Senior Director of Global Partnerships Luke Reissman in a statement. “From raising a glass at the Elijah Craig Speakeasy onsite at Bethpage Black to savoring the moment at home with a Limited-Edition 2025 Ryder Cup Small Batch Bourbon, there are multiple ways for spectators to celebrate the 2025 Ryder Cup with Elijah Craig.”
